As every year in Mioglia returns the autumn festival par excellence: the Chestnut Festival, accompanied as usual by the historic Fair of S. Simone. Protagonists of the festival will be the delicious roasted chestnuts and traditional “focaccette”, as well as homemade cakes and other gastronomic products. The distribution will start from 14.30 and the proceeds will be used to finance the operation of the local Public Assistance. It will also be possible to participate in a rich charity fishing, whose proceeds will go to finance the works of the White Cross. Everything will be accompanied by the now historic San Simone Fair: a well-established tradition for the Mioglia community, so much so that traces can even be found in the historical archives. Benches of all kinds will enrich the path to reach the party, through the village of the Ligurian hinterland. The event will also take place in case of bad weather because indoors.
