Award ceremony of the II Symposium of modeling and plaster molding of the Giulio Monteverde di Bistagno Gipsoteca. The participation and merit certificates will be delivered to the 4 participating sculptors, who have worked at the Gipsoteca for a week from 15 to 21 July.
The four sculptors will be judged by: Augusto Giuffredi, Professor of Restoration of Stone Materials at the Academy of Fine Arts in Bologna; Enrico Davoli, professor of History of Modern Art and Design at the Accademia di Brera and Valerio Berruti, artist, supported by the director of the Gipsoteca Chiara Lanzi and by the sculptor Francesco Tufo who attended all the work phases throughout the week .
The technical jury will also consider the judgment expressed by the popular jury, composed of mayors and representatives of local institutions.
At 2.30 pm all participants will be greeted with coffee and pastries.
