This year the festival is characterized by the quality of the musical part intended for dancers, both smooth, and Latin and other dances in vogue.
Even the gastronomic part, however, will not be neglected, but rather more focused on local traditions, having among the appetizers the excellent cheeses of the nearby Sciorba (Pareto), among the latter the magnificent roasts provided by the local butcher of Vito Fortunato in Mioglia.
The absolute king of the festival will still be the same dumpling, very fresh and delicious, produced by a craftsman from a neighboring locality of the neighboring province of Alessandria, according to traditional local recipes, and seasoned this year in even more tasty ways:
1) simple tomato sauce, suitable for children;
2) sausage and meat ragù, supplied by the same butcher’s shop of Vito Fortunato as already mentioned;
3) pesto (with the famous pesto di Prà);
4) the singular and delicious “cenere” sauce with olive, cream and gorgonzola paté;
5) and finally, the always current “burr” version.
