The Municipal Administration of Fontanile, on the occasion of the centenary of the First World War, wants to pay tribute to the memory of the superior officer Magg. Francesco Mignone, who in this community has spent the years of his adolescence not making it back and where they remain indelible the signs of its passage. The celebratory events will develop on two days, June 16 and 17.

During the morning of Saturday 16 June:

10:00 – Flag-raising ceremony
10:30 am – Conferment of Honorary Citizenship to General Claudio Graziano, Chief of Defense Staff
11:00 – Inauguration of the “Faith and Value” Exhibition of the Army General Staff. With display of unpublished documents of the Mignone Family with medal collection and photographs. Preliminary school prizes. Carousel of the Fanfare of the Taurinense Alpine Brigade.
