During the evening of July 28, Denice (AL), Ensemble Dodecacellos will travel with the music of its twelve cello to the knowledge of Spain, Argentina, Brazil, Africa and Italy with the show “All the Colors of the South”. The training, in business since 2010, will propose a scattering repertoire from Ravel (Bolero) to Piazzolla (Fantasia), through Gershin (Blues), Kovacs (Sholem-Alechem), Benjamin (Jamaican Rumba), Linderman (Mambo), Bacalov The postman), Galliano (Tango de Claude), Sollima (Earth air and Violoncelles-Vibrez): a heterogeneous and syncretic musical tradition that, thanks to the skills of director Andrea Albertini, has found its identity through transcripts for cello. The group also uses the solo collaboration of cellist Arianna Menesini, soloist of the Rondò Venerziano and Livia Rotondi. Giuseppe Canone will play sax, clarinet and accordion, Luca Moretti percussion. The appointment is at 9 pm in the scenery of Piazza Castello, at the foot of the Civic Tower.
